ISLAND TRANSFERS GETTING TO ROYAL DAVUI

With a number of options to choose from the resort can assist in arranging all transfers from Nadi to the island and back, allowing for a stress free vacation.

Airplane & Helicopter: We recommend arriving in Fiji at least 1.5 hours prior to your preferred transfer time. The gate closes 30mins prior to departure.

AIR & SPEEDBOAT TRANSFER

Enjoy a scenic 30 minute flight from Nadi Airport to Pacific Harbour followed by a 35 minute fast launch ride across the lagoon. The Royal Davui team or your travel agent will book your transfers.

Departs daily from Nadi Domestic Airport at 9:30am and 3:30pm. Arrives at Royal Davui at 10:45am and 4:45pm.

Departs daily from Royal Davui 9:00am and 3:00pm. Arrives at Nadi Domestic Airport 10.45am* and 4.45pm*.

HELICOPTER TRANSFER

Experience the ultimate arrival with a scenic 35-minute helicopter transfer from Nadi Airport to Royal Davui. Offering breathtaking aerial views of Fiji’s pristine waters and islands, this exclusive option combines speed, comfort, and style.

Helicopter transfers are subject restricted to daylight hours. A minimum of two passengers traveling together is required.

ROAD & SPEEDBOAT TRANSFER

Guests wishing to see a little more of Fiji’s countryside can also book a private car to drive you from Nadi Airport to our jetty. This 3 hour scenic drive takes you along the coastal roads and through the mountain ranges to Pacific Harbour. From there, the resort’s own speed boat completes the journey.

Departs daily from Pacific Harbour at 10:00am and 4:00pm. Arrives at Royal Davui at 10:45am and 4:45pm.

CHECK IN, LUGGAGE & WEIGHT GUIDELINES

LUGGAGE PIECE ALLOWANCE
Luggage weight and size are strictly enforced to meet Civil Aviation Authority payload restrictions for the remote airfield used for transfers. Each guest is permitted one checked item and one small personal item (e.g., laptop bag, purse, or handbag). Your allowance includes all bags, including carry-ons, with all baggage weighed at check-in.

HELICOPTER TRANSFER LUGGAGE WEIGHT ALLOWANCE

20kg (44lbs) per person

ROAD/LAUNCH TRANSFER LUGGAGE WEIGHT ALLOWANCE

The vehicles used for road transfers can accommodate either 4 medium suitcases or 3 large suitcases, along with carry-on items.

No single bag may exceed 23kg

LUGGAGE DIMENSIONS

Due to limited storage, luggage exceeding these dimensions will not be accepted:

75cm (30in) x 50cm (20in) x 30cm (12in)

 

We advise against packing one large bag for two people, and items exceeding 23kg will not be transported.

 

Hibiscus Air, Island Hoppers, Sunflower, and Heli-Tours Fiji have a maximum individual passenger weight limit of 120kg (260lbs), as well as a total payload aircraft weight. Passengers with a personal body weight of 120kg (260lbs) or more are requested to contact us at res@royaldavuifiji.com

EXCESS LUGGAGE & STORAGE OPTIONS
Excess baggage is subject to space availability and an additional charge of FJD10/kg. If luggage exceeds the safe payload limit, it will be transported by road and boat, with fees ranging from FJD410 to FJD820. Transfers, including those for excess luggage, operate during daylight hours only. Luggage storage is available at Nadi Airport.
