Royal Davui has always been a place where the world slows down — where you can swap traffic noise for the sound of waves, and meetings for moments that actually matter. Now, after a dramatic island-wide makeover, she’s looking better than ever.
From the moment you step off the boat, you’ll notice it: the glow of the newly revamped Banyan Bar & Restaurant. We worked with Fijian artists to create original 3D frigate bird installations that seem to dance in the breeze, and designed our own oversized rattan chandeliers so the space feels warm, open, and distinctly “Davui.”
Dining with a Pacific Soul
Our kitchen team has reimagined the menu to celebrate modern Pacific flavours. Expect fresh kokoda (our take on Fiji’s ceviche), seasonal island produce, and dishes that lean on freshness rather than fuss. Think vibrant, colourful plates that taste like the tropics.
Villas Made for Escaping the World
Every villa has been refreshed with air-conditioned sleeping pavilions, oversized bathtubs, indoor–outdoor showers, private plunge pools, and wet bars stocked for a proper island holiday. Open the bifold doors and you’re in your own little sanctuary — no neighbours, no noise, just the ocean.
Moments You’ll Never Forget
One of our most-loved experiences — the Sand Cay Picnic — is still here, but better. A private boat takes you to a tiny tidal islet where we set up sun loungers, shade, fresh pastries, tropical fruit, smoothies, and whatever else you fancy. It’s barefoot luxury at its finest, and quite possibly the most romantic breakfast you’ll ever have.
More Than Just a Makeover
This renovation wasn’t just about paint and polish. It’s about keeping Royal Davui true to her roots — a small, adults-only island resort with heart. From the moment you’re greeted by name to the last sunset toast before you leave, you’ll feel the difference.
The island’s had her makeover. Now she’s ready for yours.
