Latui Re-launch Party
Bula Vinaka Team,
After an extensive facelift our transfer boat “Latui” has been launched with a traditional Fijian Cere (pronounced “they-ray”). Fabric is draped over the boat and a kava ceremony is then held to bless the craft before putting her back into the water. As with all Fijian celebrations, once the formalities are over the fun begins – which is why half the team ended up jumping off the jetty fully dressed (okay, so maybe some went over the edge a little more reluctantly than others!)
